What We’re Looking For
This role is best suited for someone with a strong infrastructure background and hands-on experience supporting enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of networks, systems, storage, or unified communications—depending on their specialization—combined with Epic-specific technical competency.
Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of two years of directly relevant experience.
- Prior professional experience in an infrastructure-focused role.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- ITIL certification or willingness to obtain it within six months.
- Active ECSA certification.
Candidates with any of the following will be especially competitive:
- Intermediate-level infrastructure or storage certifications such as RHCSA, CCNA, MCSA, VCP, VCAP, VCDX, CWNA, EMCSA, ACIS, or CCP (Four years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a certification.)
Network Focus
- CCNA or CCDA preferred
- Previous work with WAN/LAN environments
- Familiarity with protocol analyzers
- Hands-on experience with storage area networks
- Knowledge of Fiber Channel switch infrastructure
- Microsoft certifications are a plus
- Work experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Background in mobile telecommunications setup and troubleshooting
- Experience working with syslog, call detail records, and telecom alarm/monitoring platforms
- Understanding of Ethernet, IP networking, routing, and QoS concepts
