What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st & 2nd Shift Production Workers position at Fusion Ranch?
Fusion Ranch Inc. is a jerky processing facility located in Scottsbluff, NE, producing jerky and other snack products. The work environment is fast paced, on your feet, and physical work. Production Workers must perform all duties in compliance with Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI), USDA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), SSOP and safety regulations).
Monday through Friday, some weekends may be required:
- 1st shift (6:30am-15:00)
- 2nd shift (15:00-23:30/EOS)

Some of the Duties include:
- Prep/slice raw meat (occasional deboning)
- Lay meat onto trays or hang on racks
- Operate equipment to slice, marinate, cook and pack product
- Load/unload equipment or operate smokehouse
- Scrape trays
- Scale and pack finished products
- Wash and sanitize equipment, work area, and common areas
- Other duties as assigned
A qualified candidate must:
- Pass drug test
- Pass E-verify (I9)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prior experience in food environment a plus
