Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Inbuilding Construction Manager (CM3) to support the Ericsson (E///) Inbuilding Program. The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all civil works activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with E/// and regulatory standards. This position involves 60% travel and requires strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills across multiple stakeholders and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee civil works across inbuilding telecom projects, ensuring compliance with E///, federal, and local standards
- Coordinate all SP/ASP activities; ensure adherence to schedules, SOWs, and approved materials
- Conduct site pre-inspections, audits, and visual quality checks
- Enforce safety compliance and conduct regular site safety inspections
- Manage site schedules, resources, and issue resolution
- Report project progress through regular status reports and close-out documentation
- Coordinate with Ericsson internal teams (IM Lead, Project Admin, CPM) and external stakeholders (Customer PM, ASP/SP)
- Supervise and lead site teams and service providers with a focus on performance and quality
- Handle documentation via Site Handler (NTPs, RFDS, Civils acceptance, PFAs, etc.)
- Escalate bad performance, reject incorrect material deliveries, and ensure all work is done to specification
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant construction management experience in wireless telecom projects
- Proven experience managing builds with 500 sites
- Strong knowledge of construction best practices, safety regulations, and RF systems
- Ability to lead field teams and interface effectively with multiple departments
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
