Senior Construction Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager (CM3) to support Ericsson’s Inbuilding Program in Overland Park, KS. The ideal candidate will oversee civil works, ensure quality and compliance standards, and lead service provider coordination across multiple wireless infrastructure projects. This role demands a proactive leader with strong project management and communication skills and the flexibility to travel up to 60%.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Ericsson Inbuilding Program with high accountability for Civil Works and financial controls.

Manage schedule, quality, safety, and vendor compliance across assigned projects.

Oversee Service Providers (SPs) and ensure adherence to Ericsson, customer, federal, and local standards.

Perform site inspections (pre, during, post-construction) and validate site readiness and close-out deliverables.

Supervise on-site activities and coordinate all disciplines to ensure project goals are met.

Monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) conditions on sites; perform safety checks and risk assessments.

Drive project schedules, solve civil works-related issues, and enforce quality and compliance.

Maintain records and update construction-specific documentation in systems like Site Handler.

Generate progress reports and provide status updates to project management.

Lead teams with a focus on quality, accountability, and results.

External: ASPs, SPs, Customer PMs

Internal: IM Lead, Project Admin, Project Sponsor, CPM

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience managing wireless telecom projects, including large-scale builds (500 sites).

Strong understanding of site design, civil engineering, and telecom construction standards.

Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate vendors, and drive results under pressure.

Excellent knowledge of construction documentation, scheduling, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
