COMPENSATION
Standard pay rate varies from $18 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. Some projects qualify for prevailing wage at approximately $30 per hour. Paid time off, health insurance benefits, and a 401(k) plan are also offered for eligible team members.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Deliver and install furniture on a daily route.
- Read and understand blueprints and documents for installation purposes.
- Load and unload products and furniture from trucks.
- Utilize four-wheel furniture dolly, upright dolly & panel carts for product movement.
- Stage furniture at the jobsite in preparation for the installation.
- Install modular systems furniture, align, level & wipe down.
- Install case good furniture, align, level and wipe down.
- Maintain communication and follow the specific directions of the lead man or foreman.
- Provide service work to ensure that furniture is operating properly.
- Domestic travel to client sites is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous experience working in a furniture business environment is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with basic knowledge of furniture installation.
- Team player with a positive and respectful demeanor.
- Good attendance record with minimal absences and tardiness.
- Willingness to be trained and excel through job levels.
- Basic hand tools, including cordless drill, hammer, pliers, etc. are required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
