We are looking for a passionate and experienced Water Resource Project Manager to lead a variety of surface water and stormwater projects in the Phoenix area. - Lead and manage water resources projects from concept through construction.
- Direct hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling, flood hazard identification, and FEMA Risk MAP studies.
- Oversee drainage and watershed studies, including Area Drainage Master Studies/Plans (ADMS/ADMPS).
- Guide the design of stormwater infrastructure, stream stabilization, and flood mitigation projects.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff; review engineering calculations and deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, attend project meetings, and contribute to business development efforts.
- Develop scopes of work, prepare proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Conduct QA/QC for 1D and 2D models, floodplain mapping, and construction documents.
- Utilize modeling tools such as FLO-2D (preferred), HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona.
- 8 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering.
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience mentoring staff and managing technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
