CNC Machinist - Precision Manufacturing Company
Company Overview Our client is an established precision manufacturing facility specializing in CNC machining, wire EDM, tool & die making, and fabrication services. Operating from a modern 17,500 square foot climate-controlled facility, they serve government agencies and prime contractors with design, fabrication, and industrial supply solutions.
Position Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills. This role involves setup, programming, and operation of precision machining equipment for both tooling/fixture and production work.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills
- Utilize Mastercam for programming applications
- Machine tooling, fixtures, and production components
- Maintain quality standards and specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
- Experience with 3, 4, and/or 5-axis CNC machining
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflows
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Understanding of precision machining tolerances
Preferred Qualifications
- Mastercam programming experience
- Wire EDM knowledge and experience a plus
- CAD/CAM systems familiarity
- 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience
