Description
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Assist shipping and loading of trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
- Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas via forklift.
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Record amounts of materials or items shipped or distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory.
Qualifications
Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years of relevant experience
- • Working knowledge of computers.
- • Experience with forklift operations
- Ability to operate a radial arm saw and pneumatic staple gun
- Attention to Detail - pursues quality in the accomplishment of tasks, regardless of the volume of duties encountered.
- Excellent communication and time management
- Organization- Creates or maintains processes to ensure all relevant information or tools are easily accessible.
