JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the management of digital evidence relating to the Sheriff’s Office Records Division. It provides support to the Investigators, District and County Courts, District Attorney’s Office, and Legal Department.

Assignment to vacant positions, as available, shall be made on a conditional basis pending successful completion of a required field training program. COMPLEXITY/SCOPE OF WORK
- The work consists of varied tasks associated with video and audio technology.
- The purpose of this position is to assist in the availability and preparation of video/audio evidence. Success in this position results in the successful prosecution of criminal cases.
- This position responds to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of specialized training in the occupational field, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License
- Must pass a Criminal Background check.
- Excellent skill in office organization and procedures
- Must have the skills to multi task on a daily basis
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong Communications and Interpersonal Skills and the Ability to Work Well with the Public
- Must have proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office) – experience with audio and video software is a plus.
