As Assembly and Test Mechanic you will be part of a team that completes the fabrication procedures and related activities necessary. In addition to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic installations, the Finish Assembler will perform designated quality control functions, Responsibilities include assembling and installing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, & electrical systems and components at various stages of final assembly. Assemble sub-assemblies off-line for later integration into vacuum trucks on the assembly line. Assist with final testing and inspection. Conduct repairs of deficiencies uncovered during final test & inspection. Read shop hydraulic, pneumatic and water systems drawings and schematics. Use various equipment such as hand tools, saws, hand drill & drill press, grinders, multi-meters and other measurement devices. Work at different stations, as production requires.
