Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is searching for a home-based Admissions Navigator who provides case management & assists with admissions to the Clinical Admissions Specialists. You will take initial calls, schedule, and coordinate residential treatment admissions. This position receives frequent supervision, instruction, and training. Available shifts are 5 days 8 hours OR 4 days 10 hours with some evenings and weekends.

Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is searching for a home-based Admissions Navigator who provides case management & assists with admissions to the Clinical Admissions Specialists. You will take initial calls, schedule, and coordinate residential treatment admissions. This position receives frequent supervision, instruction, and training. Available shifts are 5 days 8 hours OR 4 days 10 hours with some evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Completes non-clinical evaluation components consisting of & not limited to: answering initial calls & completing pre-screening process, coordinating & scheduling admissions, coordinating transportation, completing non-clinical documentation.
- Completes pre-certification process to authorize services with payers.
- Participates in group team meetings.
- Participates in individual supervision every eight weeks.
- Attends GRC mandatory in-services and trainings.
- Case management skills.
- Understanding of and ability to assess mental health issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
- Provides excellent customer service to all callers (whether they be potential patients, family members, referral sources, etc.)
- Computer literacy required.
- Teamwork is critical to success in this position.
- High school diploma.
- Experience in drug and alcohol counseling and assessment.
- Pass PA Criminal Background Check.
- Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances.
- Pass Drug Screen.
- TB Test.
- Evenings and weekends.
- Home-based.
- Minimal physical demands.
- Significant mental demands include those associated with working with patients with addictive disorders and managing multiple tasks.
