In this role, you will facilitate programming and assure the integrity of the therapeutic milieu. This position requires mandatory staffing coverage when necessary to provide a safe treatment environment for residents.

This position requires mandatory staffing coverage when necessary to provide a safe treatment environment for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates discussion groups and activities.
- Monitors patient behavior.
- Conducts handbook orientation.
- Assists patients in completion of patient assessment forms.
- Assists with phone calls to family members/friends and referral sources.
- Assists with crises intervention.
- Transports patients to meetings.
- Documents involvement with patients in progress notes.
- Collects urine and completes paperwork for drug screening as necessary.
- Provides post-discharge contacts/referrals under therapist direction.
- Completes intake paperwork as needed.
- Attends mandatory GRC trainings and in-services.
- Provides coverage in Youth and Young Adult Program.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of 12 step programs and/or addictions preferred.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some college
Work Conditions:
- Favorable working conditions.
- Required to remain awake and alert while on duty.
- Minimal physical demand.
- Moderate mental demands to respond to patients' simultaneous requests.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver's license and favorable driving record required.
- PA Criminal History Record Check, Childline, and FBI clearances.
- CPR/First Aid training
- Drug Screen
- TB Test
