Mechanical Engineer

Gencor Industries a leading producer of combustion technologies and engineered systems used in the highway construction, aggregate drying, and material handling industries is seeking qualified mechanical engineering candidates.

Note- CENTRAL FLORIDA BASED CANDIDATES

The mechanical engineer specializes as a machine design engineer, lead design engineer and project manager working within the Engineering Department. This position reports to the Mechanical Engineering Department Manager.

• Perform as a member of an integrated engineering team that designs hot mix asphalt plants, thermal heat exchange systems, combustion systems, and aggregate handling systems for our large customer base.
• Design responsibility for specific system elements.
• Adherence to quality assurance protocols.
• Coordinate with other engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Function as a project manager with multi-disciplinary engineering oversight responsibilities.
• Assume responsibility for project delivery schedules.
• Work effectively with other departments including sales, production control, manufacturing, quality control, and customer service.
