Are you a self-motivated multitasker who loves interacting with people? We’re looking for a positive and professional part-time to the full-time receptionist to be the face of our practice. The preferred candidate is punctual, reliable, and has some schedule flexibility.
You’ll welcome visitors, clients, and fellow employees, answer phone calls and emails, sort and deliver mail, schedule appointments, complete daily office tasks, and assist us with other operations as needed in a busy environment.
The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a strong work ethic who is interested in a meaningful role on a supportive team.

- Take incoming phone calls and respond to emails to ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information
- Welcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building and give them any pertinent information or directions
- Assist with additional administrative tasks such as data entry, copying, downloading and linking files, and client communication by phone, email, text, etc.
- Communicate clearly in a fast-moving ever-changing environment
- Adapt quickly to change
- Have love and willingness to serve and assist clients, fellow employees, and the pets we care for
- Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D., or equivalent
- Has previous experience with word processing programs and basic Windows computer skills
- Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
- Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
- 1 year of fast-paced receptionist experience or veterinary practice job experience preferred
- Have the ability to manage multiple digital communication platforms
- Self-motivated to do daily tasks and keep yourself busy. A can-do attitude is a must!
- Physically able to do stairs
- Willingness to learn and grow
