GPJ is looking for a Designer that will join the creative team to deliver project level support across multiple clients.

In this role, you will actively participate in multi-disciplinary teams, including brainstorming and providing graphic design perspective. You will also participate on a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate, interpret and develop successful messages and graphic communication for conferences, events, tradeshows and collateral. This may involve multiple dynamic concept ideations. You will immerse yourself in and translate client brands to develop polished communications that deliver.
Who You Are
Experience: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communication or related course of study. 2-3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer working with big brands. Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop software. Fluent in Google products, especially Slides. Light animation experience is a plus!
You:
- Thorough design skills in multiple media – including print, environmental, digital and presentations – experience in animation, video, storyboarding and digital content a plus.
- Have a stellar portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for design. Experience with installations, exhibits, retail environments, pop-ups, or brand activations are a plus.
- Passionately follow the latest trends (interactive technology, architecture, art, design, etc.) and maybe have a few of your own
- Think conceptually and realistically; owning a project from start to finish
- You own your work from start to finish and are deeply vested in its quality.
- Have excellent communication and design skills
- Can speak to current graphic techniques and conventions in your sleep
- Can think on the fly and quickly develop simple solutions to complex graphic communication problems
- Ability to present overall design direction to team providing design rationale and alignment to brief
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to deliver on time and in-style.
- Enjoy immersing yourself in the clients' brand, culture, products, and marketing objectives
- Able to work with internal partners and vendors to ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are met in all formats
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in strategy, account management and production
