Description
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Business Analyst with a strong background in Distribution and Manufacturing modules of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (9.2 and above). This role requires a hands-on professional who can lead, support, optimize, and enhance JD Edwards applications across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for system improvements, lead our functional team and support efforts related to EnterpriseOne and ensure system reliability and performance.
This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who brings strong business acumen, deep JDE knowledge, and a proactive mindset to enhance enterprise applications and support operational excellence—especially within Distribution and Manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, specifically with a strong focus on Distribution and Manufacturing, as well as support for Financials, Capital Asset Management, Job Cost, Procurement, and Advanced Pricing modules.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and user inquiries.
- Collaborate with business leaders, functional teams, and end users to understand operational processes and align JD Edwards solutions accordingly.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and best practices.
- Configure system settings, perform testing, and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and customizations.
- Prepare documentation for new processes, enhancements, and training materials.
- Deliver training and support to end users.
- Participate in project planning, execution, and cross-functional team discussions.
- Maintain and develop reports and dashboards using ReportsNow/ProReports.
- Support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication across business and IT stakeholders.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 or later.
- Deep functional expertise in JD Edwards Distribution and Manufacturing modules is REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business processes in supply chain, inventory, sales, procurement, shop floor, and production planning.
- Proven experience providing direct end-user support and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements across departments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience as a team-leader is a plus.
- Experience with ReportsNow, Bottomline Transform, and Quadira is a plus.
- Experience with EnterpriseOne Financials is a plus.
- Willingness to provide on-call support and work evenings/weekends as needed.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
