Consultant, Marketing Project Manager, Pharmaceuticals
Summary
Our growing, mid-sized pharmaceutical client has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Marketing Project Manager responsible for providing operational support to commercial brand teams. This position will provide direct support for planning and executing priority commercial initiatives including new asset or indication launches, brand planning as well as day-to-day brand operations.
This position reports to the US Project Management Lead in the Marketing Operations Organization. This candidate will play a crucial role in supporting near-term launches as well as in-market brand operations, with the potential to grow along with the organization.
Description
Primary responsibilities will include project management and the development of presentation materials/ deliverables (e.g., Strategic and Tactical Planning, Brand Deep Dives), along with meeting facilitation and cross-functional management.
Commercial Project Management
- Product Launch:
- Partner with Brand Leadership, Manage Major Commercial Workstreams
- Own Overall Launch Readiness, drive launch to major milestones
- Lead launch reporting and decision-making processes
- Coordinate with the Global Marketing team and Alliance Partners
- Governance/ Major Meeting Materials:
- Partner with Brand Leadership to prepare presentations internally and with cross-functional and alliance partners
- Gather/ synthesize relevant content
- Provide input into contents and story
- Present as appropriate
- Brand Planning:
- Partner and align with Brand Leadership to create a framework and plan
- Synthesize ideas and input into strategies and tactics
- Drive process to gain alignment, meet milestones and deadlines
- Provide support for building, refining, and gaining approval for the brand budget
Lead Cross Functional Commercial Projects
- Product Launch:
- Launch Leadership across commercial functions- Ownership of overall Launch Plan, drive to larger goals
- Leverage Project Management Tools and Processes
- Cross-Functional Projects:
- Lead Key Operational Workstreams Across Functions (e.g. Strategic Planning, Tactical Planning, Brand Budgeting, Governance Presentation Creation)
- Coordination/ Alignment with Alliance Counterparts
Mandatory Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Strong project management experience leading large projects with multiple workstreams
- 5 years of the pharmaceutical industry (Commercial) and/or marketing operations experience
- Experience successfully managing all or major portions of a pharmaceutical launch
- Experience partnering directly with brand teams and brand leadership
- Strong PowerPoint and deck creation skills
Term & Start
- 12-month contract, open to 12 month extension
- 2 Video Interviews - Panel - Start 2 weeks from an offer
- Full time, 40 hours/week
- Location: 90% Remote/Hybrid – Onsite in New Jersey for meetings when needed
