ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager / Estimator / Sales Professional to manage home remodeling and residential construction projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone experienced in construction sales, residential estimating, and project management who wants full ownership of their jobs.
You will be responsible for selling residential construction projects, creating accurate estimates, and managing projects from contract to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Residential Construction Sales
- Meet with homeowners to sell residential remodeling and construction projects
- Conduct in-home consultations for home improvement, renovations, and repairs
- Close construction sales and manage customer expectations
- Serve as the main point of contact throughout the project
Residential Estimating
- Create detailed residential construction estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractors
- Perform site measurements and develop scopes of work
- Prepare proposals for remodeling, renovation, and residential construction jobs
- Maintain target gross profit margins through accurate estimating
Residential Project Management
- Manage residential construction projects from cradle to grave
- Schedule crews, subcontractors, materials, and inspections
- Track job costs, schedules, and progress using construction project management software
- Manage change orders, production issues, and client communication
- Complete final walkthroughs and project close-out
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience in residential construction, home remodeling, or renovation
- Experience as a Residential Project Manager, Estimator, Construction Sales Representative, or similar role
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read plans, perform takeoffs, and write clear scopes of work
- Experience managing multiple residential projects simultaneously
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and owning project results
- Proficient with email, spreadsheets, and construction estimating tools
- Experience with Procore construction management software is a plus
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Home remodeling or residential renovation experience
- Estimating software or construction CRM experience
- Subcontractor coordination and vendor management
- Background in remodeling, additions, or specialty trades
