ABOUT GIRL & THE GOAT LA: Chef Stephanie Izard and her team are thrilled to join LA’s vibrant restaurant community and to take advantage of the area’s incredible bounty of produce and long growing seasons. While Girl& the Goat LA, designed by Studio K Creative, will share the global influence and bold flavors of its Chicago flagship, the culinary team is looking forward to crafting new dishes inspired by California produce and local flavors.
SERVER ASSISTANT’S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Pre-bussing and bussing tables in a timely manner
- Resetting tables with the proper items in a timely manner
- Filling and refilling waters for each station
- Polishing flatware, glasses, and plates for restocking the serving stations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated
This is an ideal position for someone who is dedicated to providing great service and is seeking to become a member of a hard-working and fun team!
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
- Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
- Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
