The Glass Technician Trainee/Assistant is a key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient installation and repair of auto glass, residential and commercial glass and related tasks. In this role you will help serving our customers by taking on simpler tasks and assisting with more advanced installations and repairs. Our trainees are brought on with the intention of development into a lead technician role.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist with repair and replacement of auto glass according to specified procedures
- Assist with installs of flat glass, residential and commercial, and showers, mirrors and more
- Help insure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of installation supplies
- Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
- Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
- Execute Service with Advanced Training (SWAT)
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in the glass industry a plus, but not mandatory
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects such as windshields, windows etc.
- Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
- Great communication skills
- Professional appearance and personality
- Openness to learn and develop your glass repair and installation skills
