What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Glenmeadow, Inc?
At Glenmeadow Retirement Community, our receptionists are the first point of contact each and every day, as soon as you walk through our doors. We are seeking dedicated per diem receptionists who can work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to provide top-notch customer service to our residents, guests and team-members. Candidates must be professional and energetic, greet and direct visitors, multi-task, and be the face and voice of our community.
Schedule is 3p-11p, every other Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Be a leader in hospitality.
- Operate multi-line telephone system and monitor the alarm systems.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and correspondence, data entry, file maintenance and general clerical duties.
- Assemble mailings and information packets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred, one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience with older adults is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills are essential.
