What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychotherapist position at Global Psychotherapy Center?
We are looking for part-time therapists to join our growing practice locally and remotely. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology and are licensed to practice in Maryland, Washington DC, or Virginia. Candidates will work with both OON and INN clients remotely or at our Bethesda or DC locations.
** In addition, Nurse Practitioners and other Mental Health Professionals with relevant experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Candidates should feel comfortable working with individuals, couples, families, or groups with expertise in the following:
- Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, or OCD
- Couples Therapy **
- Child, Adolescent, or Parenting issues
- Grief, Trauma, Chronic Illness, or Cancer
- Life transitions, Work-life balance, or stress management
- CBT, EFT, or Psychodynamic Therapy (all modalities welcome)
- EMDR, Mindfulness, or evidence-based therapy models.
The Global Psychotherapy team will set you up for success by providing you with client referrals, targeted marketing campaigns, and furnished office space in our Bethesda and Washington DC locations should you prefer to work in person. Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
