Summary
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons at the Grandstand Suites (Live Racing) in a friendly and ethical manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Fills drink and food orders for customers and or waitstaff.
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, garnish, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Serves wine, draft and bottled beer.
- Responsible for collecting payment for drinks and food served.
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate liquor, wine and beer cost.
- Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies for each day's business.
- Sets up bar and maintains cleanliness of the area.
- Insures that all products are entered correctly in the P.O.S. system.
- Takes accurate inventory of all product at opening and/or closing of each shift.
- Follows cash handling policies and procedures.
- Assists customers as directed by management.
- Assists F&B Manager as directed.
- Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Ability to write simple correspondence and posses basic mathematical skills.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- High school diploma or GED; and 1 year related experience and/or training.
- TABC Certification
