IT Desktop Support Technician – Onsite
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated IT Desktop Support Technician to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for desktop and laptop computers, printers, peripherals, and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and upgrade desktop operating systems, applications, and security software.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new devices, including imaging, configuration, and asset tagging.
- Support end-users with password resets, access requests, and general IT inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and IT inventory using ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues and participate in projects related to IT infrastructure improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures, including security protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on best practices and new technologies.
- 3-5 years of previous experience in IT desktop support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of Windows 10/11, Office/MS 365 apps and common business applications.
- Strong troubleshooting experience in Windows 11.
- Experience supporting virtual environments using Hyper-V or VMware.
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra, Intune, and multi-factor authentication.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and a team player with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Associate’s degree or relevant studies on Information Systems and Technology and Computer Science
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
- Experience supporting IT in manufacturing, engineering, motorsports or high-performance environments.
- Knowledge of remote support tools and IT asset management software.
