OCI-GMS-DrillTools, LLC is seeking an accomplished Director of Engineering & Quality to provide strategic and operational leadership across our engineering, process development, and quality functions. This executive-level role is critical to driving scalable, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing operations while ensuring best-in-class quality systems and compliance.

This leader will partner closely with Operations, EHS, Procurement, and Supply Chain to optimize processes, support growth initiatives, and ensure our engineering and quality practices align with OCI’s long-term business objectives.

• Lead and direct all engineering functions across multiple manufacturing sites
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, methodologies, and governance
• Oversee process development, optimization, and industrialization initiatives
• Support capital projects including equipment selection, layout design, and commissioning
• Provide engineering leadership for new product introductions and site expansions
• Ensure effective change management and documentation for process improvements

• Own and continuously improve OCI-GMS-Drilltool's Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements
• Lead internal/external audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement programs
• Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, and risk mitigation initiatives
• Partner with Operations to improve yield, reduce scrap, and enhance product consistency

• Act as a strategic partner to Operations on manufacturing efficiency and performance
• Collaborate with Procurement and Supplier Quality on material qualification and cost reduction
• Support EHS initiatives ensuring safe, compliant equipment and processes
• Provide data-driven insights and reporting to executive leadership

• Build, lead, and mentor high-performing Engineering and Quality teams
• Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
• Set clear performance expectations and support professional development
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related)
• 10 years of progressive engineering and/or quality leadership in manufacturing
• Proven experience leading Engineering and Quality teams in a multi-site environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior leadership

Preferred

• Master’s degree
• Experience leading combined Engineering & Quality organizations
