As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at GSS MN Battle Lake Ctr, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. You will demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting and possess the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status and to provide the care needed.
You will ensure the health, comfort and safety of residents, contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered. You will provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed and document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse and currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
