Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care. The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician and demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.
- Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Counsels residents, family members, and/or resident advocate, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician on prevention and treatment plans.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
