Job Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in our healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN collaborates with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement care that meets each resident's unique needs.
The RN is responsible for coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, educating residents and families on health management, and implementing various nursing interventions. As a charge nurse, the RN may delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and reliable administration of care.
To be successful in this role, the RN must demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge. They must also utilize age and population-specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting.
Requirements:- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
