We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Good Samaritan Society, serving Fifty Lakes, MN.
The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation of care. The RN will collaborate with residents, family members, and other inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment to residents
- Coordinating resident assessments, educating residents on their care plans, and performing various nursing interventions
- Serving as charge nurse and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel based on job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and competence levels
Requirements include:
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program or a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- Obtained department-specific competencies and certifications
