We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Job Coach - On Call to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
- Teach a diverse population utilizing different teaching techniques
- Build and maintain relationships with employers in the community
- Make and maintain employer contacts: introducing Goodwill services, troubleshooting and recognizing immerging opportunities within the work environment
- Engage with diverse participants individually and in group settings
- Utilize computer for record keeping and data management
- Effectively communicate verbally and in written form
- Be a self-starter, motivated, willing to learn and provide quality services
- Provide own transportation to various sites in the community
Duties:
- Assess individuals to determine their needs and identify goals
- Provide one-on-one coaching to address specific needs and goals at job site
- Assist individuals in developing job readiness skills, and skills needed for the workplace
- Assist program participants in learning job responsibilities and acclimating to the work culture to retain long term employment and self-sufficiency
- Collaborate with others including with Supports Coordinator, employer, participants and Goodwill staff to provide comprehensive support
- Provide natural supports, job coaching, problem-solving, jobsite visits, and mentoring as needed
- Utilize participant’s Person-Centered Plan to set employment goals to be achieved
- Monitor participant progress and enter case notes into data base
- Develop individual accommodations as needed

Requirements
Requirements:
- Associates degree in education, human services, business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals with barriers to employment and/or disabilities preferred.
