What You’ll Do:
- Support daily store operations, open/close the store, and assist with daily reports
- Communicate the Goodwill Mission to customers, donors, and staff and explain how the Goodwill Store, Transportation Department, and Donation Center support the mission.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-friendly environment
- Respond to customer questions, concerns, and feedback to improve our customer service quality metrics.
- Be a champion of our POS and Push Systems by maintaining an accurate cash drawer throughout each shift
- Deliver excellent service to customers, donors, and coworkers every day.
- All other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
What You’ll Need:
- Retail experience, especially in a thrift or consignment store, preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet store goals
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand/move for long periods
- Reliable transportation is required
- A valid driver’s license is strongly preferred
- Ability to work a varied schedule and flexible hours, 7 days per week
