Plumbing Inspector And Plans Examiner Benefits And Compensation

- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Proven experience in plumbing or building inspections, ideally with municipal plan review exposure
- Ability to inspect plumbing systems in new builds, remodels, and repair projects for code compliance
- Skilled in reviewing and approving permit applications and construction documents to ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations
- Confident in communicating code requirements and technical details to contractors, developers, and homeowners
- State of Florida Plumbing Inspector License and/or ICC Building Plans Examiner Certification (preferred or obtainable within 12 months)
- Working knowledge of Florida Building Code and local permitting systems
