Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to support individuals living in Independent Living. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a blend of personal care, and patient monitoring, making it essential for the candidate to be adaptable and attentive. This position is PRN and no benefits are offered.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance to individuals living in our facility , including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with daily living activities and promote their independence through supportive measures.
- Monitor clients’ health and well-being, their general condition, reporting any changes to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the comfort and safety of clients during transfers or mobility assistance.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed while ensuring proper documentation of incidents or changes in client status.
Qualifications
- Experience working in an assisted living home or similar environment is preferred.
- Caregiving experience, CNA or related fields is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
