Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role involves assisting Lead Teachers in providing an educationally enriching and stimulating environment where experiences are designed to develop self-esteem and positive self-image, social interaction, self-expression and communication skills, creative expressions, and intellectual growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and overall development.
- Engage with children during activities to encourage participation and enhance learning experiences.
- Support the care of toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or related fields are advantageous but not required.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.50 per hour
