What a Commercial Roofing Service Superintendent Does Here
- Lead and support high-performing commercial roofing service crews handling leak calls, emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Be the on-site face of the company to property managers, facility engineers, and building owners
- Inspect in-progress and completed work to ensure quality craftsmanship and OSHA-compliant safety
- Work closely with dispatch and service managers to assign daily jobs and maximize crew productivity
- Respond to emergency calls-including after-hours when needed (you're the dependable one, after all)
- Maintain detailed documentation with tablets and tracking software: photos, reports, safety forms, and service tickets
- Ensure your crews have everything they need to win the day-tools, materials, and the right mindset
- 5-15 years of experience in commercial roofing, especially low-slope systems: TPO, PVC, EPDM, Mod-Bit, BUR
- At least 2 years leading or supervising service/repair crews
- You lead by example-with field knowledge, communication, and professionalism
- Tech-savvy: you're comfortable with tablets, job apps, software, and specs
- OSHA 30 Certified (or willing to get it fast)
- Bonus if you're manufacturer-certified (but not required to shine)
- Strong base salary performance bonuses
