GPS Retirement is a close-knit team of professionals providing financial investment advice and other services to ensure our clients live legendary during their retirement. Our team prides itself on providing superior customer service and care. We are searching for a responsible, client-focused team member with exceptional attention to detail.
How you will make a difference:
You will be responsible for ensuring both new business applications and client service requests are processed accurately, providing white glove service throughout each step. This role demands presenting a warm, positive, and professional image both in person and through phone or written communication. As the New Business Specialist, you will drive growth, enhance operational excellence, and foster strong client relationships through the following tasks:
- Process new business applications accurately and efficiently, using both in-person and digital platforms
- Communicate with team members, clients, and financial institutions to address any issues and ensure timely processing of applications
- Follow up on pending new business transfers, providing updates to each individual client on a weekly basis
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements
- Assist advisors with appointment preparation including preparing policy delivery and annual review materials
- Create and maintain client files, both digitally and hard copies
- Ensure accurate data entry and oversee the organization of sensitive files
- Maintain comprehensive notes within the CRM, detailing each contact with clients and financial institutions
- Assist Service Advisor with various client service requests including withdrawals, beneficiary updates, and other requests as needed by verifying documents and following up on processing
- Regularly update business trackers and prepare weekly pipeline update with detailed information on each pending case
Responsibilities will increase as expertise and experience grow. This is not a remote position.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- Customer service and/or data entry experience required
- Exceptional attention to detail, data entry, and organizational skills
- Track record of handling sensitive information with discretion, adhering to industry compliance requirements
- Ability to multitask while prioritizing day-to-day tasks and issues
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, building trust with clients through each interaction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Operate with a proactive approach in dealing with team members and clients
- Must have reliable transportation and attend evening marketing or client appreciation experiences as requested by leadership

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
