Nursing House Supervisor
Department: Inpatient Nursing Type: Registry Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 72 Hours Per Biweekly Pay Period; 2:45pm-11:15pm; M-F

Supervises and coordinates activities for nursing care to the neonate/infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient for all nursing divisions through planning, coordinating, evaluation and staffing. Provides nursing support in the Emergency Department as needed. Assumes responsibility of the Administrative person in charge in of the hospital during assigned shift by using good judgment and critical skills to deal with patients, family members, staff, physicians, and visitors. This qualified leader of nursing reports to the Director of Medical/Surgical Nursing.
A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years hospital experience are preferred. Current Illinois licensure ACLS and BLS, PALS certification or willingness to obtain required.
