The Opportunity
This role is critical to the company’s continued growth and drive toward being the best operational company in the cannabis industry. Reporting to the C.O.O., while taking direction from the Kitchen Lead, the Kitchen Tech will be responsible for the creation of all confectionery products, in addition to the quality, consistency, and potency of all edibles produced. The Kitchen Tech will oversee daily edibles productions, create and maintain an environment that ensures safety, performance, and the best product quality. They are responsible for ensuring ServSafe standards and state cannabis laws and regulations are met in all aspects of production.
What you’ll do
- Create all confectionary products following the necessary SOPs for the recipes.
- Handle distillate and other cannabis products with the utmost care and attention to regulatory compliance.
- Monitor inventory, create lists of supplies, and maintain all required logs and records accordingly.
- Fully comply with Adult Use Marijuana Regulations and complies to ServSafe standards.
- Assist with the development of production plans and maintain inventory as determined by sales demand.
- Work with the Kitchen Lead and Inventory Manager to track and maintain accurate records of all inventory in the Metrc system as well as send products to registered marijuana testing facilities.
- Strictly follow department SOP’s, Batch records, logs and associated forms and documents to maintain compliance.
- Recommend and implement efficiency improvements.
- Regular communication and collaboration with management team members and executives.

Skills & Qualifications
- Prior industry experience in creating marijuana edibles is recommended.
- Experience with inventory for raw, immediate, and finished goods.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the kitchen.
- Detailed oriented mind set with a focus on efficiency, quality and sanitation.
- Ability to accurately follow recipes and measurements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to stand on feet for long hours.
- Ability to be trained on various activities, machines, and systems.
