Position Summary:
The Host Person is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. This position manages the flow of reservations to maximum guest experience. Duties include answering the phone and booking reservations using Open Table System.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
2. Greets guests at the entrance verbally with a warm welcome.
3. Seat parties evenly throughout open stations, or place parties on a waiting list.
4. Update table status using the Open Table System.
5. Answer telephone within three rings and make reservations using Open Table System.
6. Keep store front clean and stocked.
7. Communicate guest opportunities to management.
8. Perform all pre and post side work, including cleaning all menus.
