What are the responsibilities and job description for the Producution Employee position at Great Lakes Trim Inc?
Minimum Training, Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred, will provide on the job training if necessary
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to work well with others
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts repetitively
- Work with other operators on an assembly line or independently
- Follow work instructions and procedures
- Report problems with quality, processes or equipment to Inspector or Supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- May be required to use one or more hand tools including staple gun, heat gun, glue gun, knives, screw drivers, rivets, wrenches, etc.
- Responsible for meeting production and scrap requirements set by the company
- Additional duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of working on feet or sitting
- Repetitive motions that include, but are not limited to, the wrists, hands, fingers, and arms
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Operating machinery and/or power tools
- May require some lifting
