Minimum Training, Education and/or Experience:
- Previous manufacturing/shop experience preferred
- High school diploma preferred
- Should understand the manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to work well with others
Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble parts repetitively using sewing equipment.
- Work with other operators on an assembly line or independently
- Follow work instructions and procedures
- Report problems with quality, processes or equipment to Inspector or Supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Required to set up and maintain sewing equipment, i.e. sewing machines
- Required to cut or sew using technical equipment.
- Responsible for meeting production and scrap requirements set by the company
- Additional duties as assigned
Other Requirements:
- Ability to use hands
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- May require some lifting
- Must have transportation to and from work
- Must comply with Great Lakes Trim’s attendance policy
