This is an on-site position in Salina, KS. This position typically works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Systematically drive actions and accountability to required tasks and deliverables to the predetermined program timeline.
- Drive multi – disciplinary groups (Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Material control, Quality, Manufacturing engineering) to meet critical milestone deadlines.
- Document open issues, actions, owners and dates. Drive open issues to closure to accommodate company schedules.
- Identify open issues, actions, owners and dates to review with leadership.
- Create and maintain detailed schedules and routinely report progress/concerns to management.
- Manage design review process, production preparation, production trials, etc.
- Communicate effectively and foster teamwork.
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from four-year college or university; or minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Functional discipline or operational experience in a manufacturing setting
- Must have solid problem-solving skills
- Overall understanding of manufacturing timelines; project management experience is a plus
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with Fabrication, Weld, Paint and Assembly production processes is helpful
