What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Financial Analyst position at Griffin Hospital?
MAIN FUNCTION: Responsible for gathering data, providing data analysis that includes problem definition/trends and synthesizing results into summary reports. Ability to work in an array of analytical methods and approaches depending on project/initiative.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years accounting/financial experience required and experience in healthcare a plus, Strong understanding of financial reporting, Advanced computer skills required particularly with Word and Excel including experience with sorting, importing, exporting, lookups/formulas, and manipulating large data files, Very detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills, Capable of working under tight time frame to complete the monthly financial close.
