Job Details
We are currently looking for an Automotive Billing Clerk to join our team. The Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately recording the sale, profit, and commissions payable on all sold units and for accurately accounting for vehicle inventories. Our ideal candidate has some post-secondary education (degree, coursework, or certification) and at least one year of experience as a Billing Clerk for an automotive dealership. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment handling multiple projects and have excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills. Automotive Accounting with Infiniti/Nissan, Acura/Honda, Volvo, and CDK experience.
Responsibilities:
- Examines contracts to ensure conformity to specified requirements and audits car deals for corporate documentation standards
- Verifies all documents are signed and completed properly
- Processes paperwork promptly
- Issues checks for lien payoffs and submits to financial institutions
- Reconciles monthly schedules
- Posts inventory-related payable invoices
- Provides administrative assistance as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; some post-high school education or training preferred.
- One year of relevant experience
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Automotive Accounting, CDK, and/or Reynolds Experience Required
- Strong math skills
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
- Highly professional and dependable
