Job Details
We are currently looking for a Title Clerk to join our team. The Title Clerk is responsible for processing vehicle titles in an accurate and timely manner. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience as a Title Clerk for an automotive dealership with current working knowledge of DMV regulations in Texas and surrounding states. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment handling multiple projects and must have excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills. Automotive Accounting, ADP/CDK, and webDEALER experience are required.
Responsibilities:
- Process all registration for New, Used, Retail, and Leased vehicles
- Process payoffs and follow-up with lien holders
- Examine vehicle title for accuracy and conformity to specified requirements.
- Verify, allocate, and post transactions into proper journals
- Review and clean the TTL payoff schedules
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; some post-high school education or training preferred
- One year of relevant experience
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Automotive Accounting, ADP/CDK, and webDEALER experience are required.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
- Highly professional and dependable
