As a Global Materials Planning Manager, you will will be instrumental in developing planning processes and strategies for key raw materials, and will act as primary liaison with Global Planning, Medicine Supply Chain Leads, Strategic External Manufacturing, sites and Procurement to ensure critical raw material supplies meet demand needs for drug substance, bulk drug product, and fill/finish manufacturing operations. Additionally, this role will be responsible for defining mitigations and sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of supply of key raw materials.

- Responsible for determining stock policy for all key raw materials required for the production process at all sites within the therapy.
- Develop process, policies and replenishment models for all key raw materials at sites and CMOs.
- In close collaboration with Procurement, Quality and Strategic External Manufacturing establish risk monitoring and mitigation processes across network to prioritize risks and manage potential material shortages.
- Ensure an appropriate 24 month+ inbound materials supply for the therapy, agreed by sites, suppliers and procurement, focusing on critical and unique items and risk management strategies.
- Monitoring and performance management of key raw materials e.g. adherence to planning parameters, adherence to contractual terms, overall working capital performance versus targets.
- Initiate and lead performance improvement projects with sites, Strategic External Manufacturing and Procurement to improve service / working capital.
- Responsible for developing a consolidated demand signal into Strategic External Manufacturing and Procurement, to provide visibility for a minimum 2 year horizon for strategic purchasing process.
- Partner with Strategic External Manufacturing and procurement on the relevant procurement operating boards, to represent the needs of the global therapy.
- Lead continuous improvement and value engineering projects with sites, procurement and New Product Introduction.

- Bachelors degree
- At least 8 years in a related supply chain/planning/manufacturing role
- Experience in vendor management, project/relationship management, leading cross-functional teams and/or tech transfers in early and late development phases within pharmaceutical industry
- Experience Supply Chain processes and supporting systems within a business environment material management knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Proven capability in building strong relationships with key stakeholder and multiple interfaces, including 3rd party
- Ability to drive continuous improvement across the Supply Chain
- APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification preferred
- Planning systems knowledge
- Experience in Project Management
- Customer driven and excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
