Epicor Analyst (Epicor Kinetic / BI Reporting)
Location: Torrance, CA
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 (base)

Overview
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Epicor Analyst to serve as the primary resource for enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence. This role is critical to transforming Epicor ERP data into actionable insights that support decision-making across all departments.
This position will focus on extracting, analyzing, visualizing, and documenting data primarily from Epicor Kinetic (V10) while also supporting Data Lake environments. The ideal candidate combines strong Epicor technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a passion for enabling self-service analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visual analytics using SSRS, Power BI and/or Tableau, and Epicor reporting tools (BAQs, Dashboards)
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Epicor Kinetic reporting, including data structure, extraction, and reporting across Epicor databases and related repositories
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting and analytical solutions
- Develop and deliver training for end users on reports, dashboards, and reporting tools to promote data literacy and self-service reporting
- Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical processes
- Enhance reporting and system functionality through development of BAQs, BPMs, Data Directives, and other Epicor components as needed
- Communicate analytical findings, insights, and project status clearly to both business users and leadership
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize reporting, data usage, and visibility across the organization
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ERP Report Writer, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Epicor Analyst with a strong focus on ERP data
- Expert-level knowledge of Epicor Kinetic / Epicor ERP (V10) database structure, tables, and relationships
- Hands-on experience developing and customizing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Demonstrated experience building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and meaningful reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to train end users and produce clear documentation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a managed ERP environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments and understanding how business processes drive ERP data
- Familiarity with Epicor customization tools such as BPMs, Data Directives, and Embedded Logic
- Basic programming experience (e.g., C#) to extend Epicor functionality
- Exposure to ancillary systems such as BarTender labeling software
- Understanding of data integration concepts, including Data Lakes and external data repositories
