What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Chef position at Guidant Management?
Guidant Management Group is looking for one full time Head Chef to join our strong team. We are a public golf course located in central west Broward County. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.
Open for breakfast and lunch daily from 8:30am to 3:30pm and for private events as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all ordering, menu development and inventory tracking.
- Maintain standards of food quality and appeal, responsible for proper food cost, and meeting sanitation standards.
- Must be capable of cooking daily meals and working with and supervising other F B staff.
- Must have knowledge of banquet setup and management.
- Position requires a flexible schedule to work some nights, weekends, and Holidays.
- Weekly hours between 37 - 45 hours.
Qualifications
- Golf course restaurant experience preferred but not mandatory
- Safe Serve Certification preferred
Compensation
Total compensation includes base salary and commissions and is expected to be $45K to $50K based on experience.
