Project Manager Scrum Master

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a strong Scrum Master with a background in IT Project Management to support large Agile development efforts in the Columbia, SC area. This would be a full time, long-term contract working 100% onsite.

The Scrum Master will be responsible for supporting the project teams and release trains, facilitating planning and communication as well as providing continuous coaching on Agile best practices.

Duties:

• Schedule and lead crucial meetings like sprint planning, daily scrums (stand-ups), sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and within timeboxes.
• Track project progress, using metrics like burndown charts and velocity, to help the team understand their performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify and remove roadblocks that hinder the team's progress, whether internal to the team or external dependencies.
• Participate in the development and tracking of KPIs and assist the Product Owner in developing roadmaps and prioritizing tasks.
• Mediate and resolve conflicts within the team to ensure success.
• Promote and coach Agile best practices throughout delivery.

Qualifications:

• In-depth experience in Agile delivery and experience serving as Scrum Master
• Experience supporting the development of product roadmaps, burndown chats, and KPIs
• Tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps Boards
