Happy Days Childcare in Merrillville, IN is looking for one teacher assistant to join our 16 person strong team. We are located on 6111 Harrison Street Suite 145. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
DESCRIPTION
The lead teacher is responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of teaching team, and functions as a team leader, co-leader. The teacher plans and implements the curriculum, and with active participation of other members of the teaching team, works with parents and assist the needs of individual children.
Qualifications
MINIMUM
- Must have thorough knowledge of and be able to implement a developmental curriculum. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma, have worked in a childcare facility previously and be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children. In addition, he/she must meet the requirements of the city and state licensing agencies.
